About NiyamHQ

Niyam (नियम) means “rule”. NiyamHQ exists to make India's rules — GST, the four Labour Codes, PF, ESI and professional tax — simple, free and accessible to every SME owner, accountant and HR professional.

What we believe

• Show the working. Every calculator explains how it got its number and cites the section or notification it uses.
• Your data stays yours. Calculators run in your browser. We don't see your salary or tax figures.
• Plain language. Like a good CA explaining over chai — clear, not intimidating.
• Always current. Every page shows when its rules were last reviewed.

How we check accuracy

Rules are taken from the Acts, rules and notifications published by CBIC, GSTN, the Ministry of Labour & Employment, EPFO, ESIC and state governments. Calculators are covered by automated tests with worked examples. If you spot an error, please tell us at hello@niyamhq.in and we'll fix it quickly.
